(HBO) - Along with promoting economic development, the Party Committee and administration of Nhan My commune in Tan Lac district have always focused on building and improving the quality of the cultural life of local people. The "All people unite to build the cultural life" movement has attracted the participation of people from all walks of life, creating a positive change in building a civilised lifestyle, and contributing to building new-style rural areas.

My commune organises the 2023 ethnic folk arts festival, attracting the
participation of 10 teams from 10 hamlets.
Attention has been paid to encouraging
officials, Party members and local people to actively participate in
implementing the movement's activities; and promoting good traditional values
in Vietnamese families. In addition, the movement to develop the economy, and
help each other reduce poverty, and get rich legitimately has been implemented
effectively. Many families living in difficult circumstances have get rid of
poverty and become wealthy households.
The effectiveness of the "All people
unite to build the cultural life" movement is reflected not only in the
awareness of each resident in Nhan My commune, but also in the enthusiastic
spirit of joining hands to prevent and combat social evils, repel outdated
customs, and well implement regulations on a civilised lifestyle in weddings,
funerals and festivals.
In 2022, Nhan My commune had 1,542
households recognised as cultural families, of which 1,140 got the title for
three consecutive years, and 44 were recognised as outstanding cultural
households in the 2020 – 2022 period. The "All people unite to build the
cultural life" movement has become a vibrant emulation movement in the
locality.

People's Committee, said that in recent years, the commune People's Committee
has regularly coordinated with the Fatherland Front and other sectors and
organisations of the commune to actively encourage local people to comply with
the policies and guidelines of the Party, and the State’s laws; and eliminate
outdated customs. The implementation of the movement has created a driving
force for people to unite, help each other develop the economy, build the
cultural life, protect the environment, ensure security and order, thus
contributing to building an increasingly prosperous and civilised homeland.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts. The programme is now being expanded, with relevant departments and sectors actively seeking additional seasonal employment opportunities in various localities across the RoK.
