Mong Hoa Commune (Hoa Binh city) has 3 routes passing through, including 8 km of National Highway 6; Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh road 2 km; 3 km of provincial road 446 and the regional link road under construction passing through the area about 7 km. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phu, Secretary of Mong Hoa Commune Party Committee said: poverty reduction and job creation for people is one of the key tasks of the commune that has been implemented effectively.

Mong Hoa commune was planned by superiors to have an industrial park with a total area of 214 hectares, currently attracting 24 projects. There are 26 projects outside the industrial park. Enterprises operate stably, creating jobs for over 250 workers annually. Enterprises, production facilities, commercial and service establishments have created jobs and stable income for thousands of workers with income from 5 - 9 million VND/person/month. The commune has paid attention to implementing poverty reduction policies and social security policies. The entire commune has over 1,000 people accessing loans from the Bank for Social Policies with an amount of over 24.2 billion VND. The rate of people participating in health insurance reached 93.75%.

Cooperatives in the area have actively implemented models to link production and consumption of agricultural products for farmers. Small and medium-scale livestock models are of interest for development. Some models of raising indigenous pigs, raising bees, raising free-range chickens, raising buffaloes and cows have gradually been replicated, bringing economic efficiency and improving people's lives. The new rural construction program continues to achieve positive results. On December 31, 2021, the commune was recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards.

Socio-economically, the poverty reduction work of Mong Hoa commune achieved important results. Estimated for implementation in 2023, the proportion of trade and services accounts for 37.5%; industry, handicrafts and construction 54%; agriculture - forestry 8.5%. Average income reaches 67 million VND/person/year. In 2020, the commune had 34 poor households, which is expected to decrease to 24 households by 2023. Mong Hoa commune focuses on propagandizing and mobilizing people to support the policy of attracting investment, makig a good job of site clearance for key projects, striving to complete the criteria and standards of wards belonging to class urban areas III.
