(HBO) After two years of 2015 – 2017, since Yen Tri commune study encouragement association (Yen Thuy) started operating officially, there have been over 1,400 members joining in 14 branches and 4 study encouragement boards of offices, schools, 6 clan study encouragement boards.



The golden achievement board of Vu Dinh clan in A Dong Hamlet, Yen Tri Commune (Yen Thuy) is the place where their offspring follow and study.



In 2002, Yen Tri Commune Study Encouragement Association was established with the aim to promote, encourage excellent students at all levels in order to foster the talents, support chances to go to school  for the poor pupils, contributing to the effective implementation of universal education in the commune. Up to 2015, The Association officially began into operation under regulations.

Ms. Bui Thi Lien, The Chairman of Yen Tri Commune Study Encouragement Association informed: In recent years, study encouragement activities have been paid attention by the Party and the local authorities, leaders of departments, boards and organizations in the commune have joined in, therefore, the study encouragement branches, study encouragement clans have been taken care to develop widespread in 14 villages, offices and unions.

The Women Association launched the Management Board of Pig Saving bank Association with the sponsor of the commune Party and the Union. The Commune Youth Union raised funds to give scholarship for poor hardworking students. 100% branches and boards of study encouragement and organizations built a study encouragement funds with the total money of over 90 million VND. The Association awarded nearly 100 excellent pupils and excellent teachers at all levels in order to promote, encourage the members. At the same time, collaborating with local organizations and enterprises, the Associations gave more than 100 scholarships, 35 bicycles, hundreds of gifts for pupils with very poor conditions. In implementing some movements launched by the provincial Association, the Association enthusiastically propagated and mobilized its members to do the movements of "Saving pig banks for study encouragement”, "Study Encouragement Drumming”, "Three sponsoring”,etc.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Lien, the developing activities of the Association have been contributed positively by the branches and clans. One of the typical examples of study encouragement activities is Vu Dinh Clan in A Dong Hamlet. Mr. Vu Dinh Tung, The clan chief of Vu Dinh said: Since 1950, some people of Vu Dinh Clan in Ha Nam immigrated to A Dong Hamlet. Despite the difficulties, they were always united and supported together to develop economy and study. Up to now, Vu Dinh Clan has had 17 households with 67 people, in which 92,8% children are at high schools or universities who achieved excellent or good pupils with very good morality. They are not addicted to social civil or illegal. 98% of people in the clan in the age of 15-60 are literacy, 70% of the people self- study regularly in their lifetime. Many people in the clan have had high achievement in study, for example: Mr. Vu Hoang Son graduating with good grade from America National Airline Academy, Colonel Vu Duc Long graduating with good grade from Military Academy.

According to Mr. Tung, they could get these achievements because of the great supports from the Party and local authorities esteeming study encouragement and in- time promotion to every clan and household./.
