The people in Luong Ca hamlet, Ngo Luong commune (Tan Lac) have been developing buffalo and cow breeding to bring high economic efficiency.
To lead and direct the effective implementation of Resolution No. 03-NQ/TU, the Commune’s Party Committee issued Plan No. 31-KH/DU, on July 28, 2021, the Commune’s People's Committee developed Plan No. 79/KH-UBND, dated August 31, 2021 on implementing the resolution. In 2022, the total capital plan assigned to the commune was over 3.2 billion VND (the investment capital was 1.8 billion VND, non-business capital was over 1.3 billion VND).
In 2023, the commune was allocated a capital of 2,072 million VND for the National Target Program for the socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Deploying capital, the commune has implemented project 1 to solve the shortage of the residential land, housing, production land and water for the people. Along with the direct support for the households with the housing difficulties, the commune invested in building the community houses and the auxiliary items for a particularly difficult hamlet; hardening the inner-field roads for a hamlet with the traffic difficulties; Repairing and maintaining 3 inter-village road projects. In addition, the commune implemented project 3 on the sustainable agriculture and forestry development, promoting the potential and strengths of the regions to produce goods along the value chain. Accordingly, they supported the precious medicinal herbs areas with the model of growing 7-leaf ginseng. In 2023, from the allocated capital, the commune continued to support the development of precious medicinal herb growing areas for the disadvantaged households.
Ms. Bui Thu Thuy, the Standing Deputy Secretary of Ngo Luong Commune’s Party Committee, says: Implementing Resolution No. 03-NQ/TU has contributed to raising the awareness of Party committees and the authorities, especially the local people. Many households actively responded to the emulation movements of labor and production, participated in donating land, and contributing labor to build the public works and roads. During the period of 2021 - 2023, the people donated over 3,000 m of land to build roads into the production area, contributing 415 workdays (worth over 83 million VND) to build the public works. The departments, branches, unions, and party cells have been promoting propaganda and mobilizing the people to build economic models, create jobs, and increase the people's income. In the commune, there are many production models that bring high economic efficiency such as raising native pigs, raising chickens on the hills, raising goats, growing chayote for the tops...
Continuing to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 03-NQ/TU, in the coming time, the Party Committee and the authorities of Ngo Luong commune determine to develop agriculture and forestry in the direction of intensive farming and enhancing the product value. Focus on developing household and farm economies associated with applying scientific and technical advances to production.
It is necessary to develop livestock production in the direction of the commodity production, encourage the expansion of the scale of raising animals with high economic value such as native pigs and free-range chickens, and replicate a number of the models of high economic efficiency. It is also sugssted continueing to implement the province's policy of building highland communes in Tan Lac district to become provincial-level tourism areas by 2030, with a vision to 2050. It is important to exploit the potential and build the commodity products such as Shan Tuyet tea, native pigs and chickens, eco-tourism, community tourism, contributing to creating jobs and increasing income for the local people.
