The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Communist Union has just organized a provincial-level activity at the revolutionary relic site of Muong Khoi War Zone, An Nghia commune, Lac Son district with the activities to clean up the environment; Building the road lighting with green energy; planting 2,000 new trees; holding a ceremony to admit 102 new union members.

It is known that,
in response to the peak day of "Volunteering to join hands to build new rural
areas and Green Sunday” in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth
Communist Union has directed Youth Union facilities throughout the province to
organize many responding activities such as cleaning up and collecting 5 tons
of waste at black spots; repairing and embellishing the martyrs' cemeteries and
relics; building "Youth flower routes”; Planting and caring for nearly 5,000
trees... attracting the participation of over 3,500 turns of union members and
young people.
In addition, the
Provincial Youth Communist Union has coordinated with the Provincial Young
Entrepreneurs Association to inaugurate the Charity House project for Mr. Bui
Van Mang's family in Sao Vot hamlet, Lac Sy commune, Yen Thuy district.
The peak day
"Volunteering to join hands to build new rural areas and Green Sunday” is
within the framework of the Youth Month in 2024. The program aims to raise the
awareness and the role of youth and the community in building new rural areas
and urban civilization; promoting the proactive role, volunteerism, creativity,
and responsibility of young people in participating in digital transformation,
environmental protection, and responding to the climate change.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts. The programme is now being expanded, with relevant departments and sectors actively seeking additional seasonal employment opportunities in various localities across the RoK.
Luong Son Industrial Park has invested in standardised wastewater and emissions treatment systems, enforced tight emission controls, reduced noise, dust, and solid waste, and expanded green spaces, contributing to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.
Hoa Binh police are collecting public feedback on amendments to the 2013 Constitution via the national identification app VNeID. This innovative approach marks a giant leap towards modernising grassroots democracy and enhancing transparency in public consultation.
A total public investment capital of 113 billion VND (over 4.3 million USD) was disbursed for a project to upgrade infrastructure and stabilise residents in the vicinity of the Da River reservoir between 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, giving a facelift to local rural areas and improving the quality of people's life.
