In the morning of April 24th, at Uncle Ho’s Monument on Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Project, Vietnam Youth Federation coordinated with Hoa Binh Youth Federation to organize the journey "I love my Fatherland” to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.


The delegation participating in the journey and the accompanying units were presenting 200 national flags to the province.


There was the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Central Youth Communist Union, the Standing Deputy Chairman of the National Committee for Vietnam Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, the member of the Standing Committee the Central Youth Communist Union, the Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Youth Union, the leaders from the appropriate departments, offices, units under the Central Youth Communist Union, Vietnam Youth Federation and the leaders of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of: Hoa Binh, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ha Nam...provinces

The journey "I love my Fatherland” organized by Vietnam Youth Federation took place from April 24th – 27th. This is one of the meaningful activities carried out every year with a view to spreading the awareness about the love of the homeland and country, preserving, conserving and promoting the cultural values and traditional heritage of ethnic minorities, contributing to the socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life for the ethnic minorities... The 2024 journey is divided into 2 operating routes including: Hanoi - Hoa Binh - Son La - Dien Bien and Hanoi - Yen Bai - Lao Cai - Lai Chau.

In Hoa Binh, the delegation offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Hoa Binh Hydropower project. After that, the delegation participating in the journey with the accompanying units presented 200 national flags; 200 frame maps and 500 paper maps to Hoa Binh province. They also presented 20 sets of gifts and cash to the former youth volunteers in Hoa Binh province who joined the youth volunteering units in Dien Bien Phu campaign and fighting against the French colonialists. They also sent 20 sets of gifts to the former volunteers of Hoa Binh province, each set of gifts and cash worth 1 million VND expresses the gratitude to the former volunteers who contributed and devoted themselves to the resistance war against the war of French and American.

Within the framework of the program, the National Volunteer Center and the accompanying units awarded a Happy House to Nguyen Hong Son - 7th-grade student from Binh Thanh Communal High School in Cao Phong District. Son is the son of the Muong ethnic group, and he is fatherless, and his family is in a particularly difficult situation. A Happy House is supported with a budget of 80 million VND. In addition, the Strength project. 2000 will mobilize the support for him in the form of "The Youth Communist Union's foster child”, sponsoring him until he is 18 years old.

Also in the program, the journey "I love my Fatherland” and the accompanying units awarded a Happy House to Mrs. Bui Thi Chon, a former volunteer of the Cu Chinh Lan unit, who is currently residing in Rang Thien hamlet, Van Son commune, Lac Son district with a support budget of 100 million VND.
