Over the past time, all-level trade unions in Hoa Binh province have carried out practical activities to take care of material and spiritual lives of their members and labourers.



Hoa Binh province’s delegation of National Assembly deputies presents gifts to workers during its inspection over the enforcement of the Law on Trade Unions at Cap Global Co., Ltd at Luong Son Industrial Park, Luong Son district.


Korean-invested Cap Global Co., Ltd, established in 2019 at the Luong Son Industrial Park, Luong Son district, has employed more than 600 people, over 90% of them local, with their average monthly salary standing at 8-8.5 million VND (315-335 USD).

Apart from boosting production and business, the company has paid special attention to building and promoting the role of the trade unions.

Its Chairman Kieu Viet Bac said the company features a canteen, a hall, a clinic, and a lactation room for workers, helping raise the efficiency of trade union activities.

Hoa Binh province counts nearly 78,000 trade union members. All-level trade unions there have coordinated with competent agencies in ensuring their legal rights.

In the first half of this year, the provincial Federation of Labour held 16 classes to disseminate laws and provide legal advice for 4,400 trade union members and labourers.

All-level trade unions hosted and coordinated in organising more than 350 sport tournaments, and art programmes and exchanges, attracting the participation of nearly 16,800 civil servants and labourers.
During the reviewed period, they presented gifts to 11,717 workers with total funding of over 5 billion VND, and received 614 others worth 380 million VND from donors and distributed them to the needy.

They also upgraded houses for for disadvantaged members with total funding of 150 million VND, and earmarked 656 million VND from the National Employment Fund to 10 households in Kim Boi, Da Bac, Yen Thuy, and Luong Son districts in support of their economic development.  

Chairman of the provincial Federation of Labour Nguyen Manh Cuong said all-level trade unions will pay more attention to protecting legal and legitimate rights of civil servants and workers, enhance the communications work, and work harder to improve the living standards of trade union members and labourers.
