A delegation of the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, on December 23 visited and presented gifts to Muong Riec Parish in My Thanh commune, Lac Son district, on the Christmas occasion.

Extending the best wishes to the entire parish on the occasion of the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025, Long provided an update on the province's socio-economic development in 2024 and acknowledged the contributions by the local Catholic community to local growth. He emphasised that the Party and State always respect the people's freedom of belief and religion and create conditions for all religions to develop equally.

The Secretary also welcomed the opinions and proposals from the parish's representatives and expressed his hope that in the coming time, with a shared goal of improving the people's life quality, ensuring social security, and promoting prosperity, the parish will continue to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, lead a good secular and religious life, and contribute to the great national solidarity. He also encouraged the parish to work together with the local community to develop the hometown and the country. 

A representative of the parish thanked the provincial authorities for their support and encouragement, hoping that administrations at all levels will continue to create favourable conditions for the parish to develop, help strengthen the great national solidarity, and contribute to local socio-economic development.
