The Party Organisation of Lam Son commune, Luong Son distict has paid much attention to Party building in association with isnpection and supervision, which helps enhance the leadership capacity in fulfilling local political tasks.
The Lam Son commune Party Organisation holds a meeting to
disseminate late Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's article on
Party-building.
The commune Party Organisation consists of 14 Party cells with over 250
members. Over the past time, it has comprehensively implemented Party-building
tasks in line with Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, which encourages
studying and following the thoughts, morality, and lifestyle of President Ho
Chi Minh, and the Conclusion of the Party Central Committee on strengthening
Party and political systembuilding and rectification.
The organisation has assigned members to oversee Part cells, ensuring the timely
understanding of the thoughts and aspirations of officials, members, and the
public, thereby formulating effective solutions for monthly, quarterly, and
yearly tasks.
At the beginning of the year, the commune Party Committee directed its
inspection board to develop an inspection and supervision plan as per the
Party's regulations.In 2024, it inspected two Party organisations and
three Party members, while supervising two organisations and two Party
members.Meanwhile, the inspection board inspected two organisations, and
supervised two organisations and four members.
The Party Committee and the inspection board also inspected Party members who
were suspected of violating regulations. The inspections and supervisions
helped promptly correct and remind organisations and members of well
implementing Party building work, ensuring that disciplinary measures are
applied correctly in line with regulations, without complaints.
Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung, Secretary of the Lam Son commune Party Committee, said
that the commune is expected to achieve almost all socio-economic development
targets in 2024.
To date, the commune has achieved 12 out of 13 criteria to become a ward. It
strives to obtain the status by 2025.
The commune is implementing 16 out of 17 projects with a total
investment of over 90 billion VND (3.53 million USD) under the medium-term
public investment plan for 2021-2025.
Ongoing projects, particularly road upgrades and construction of cultural
houses, have received strong public support, with many residents voluntarily
donating land for the construction.
The quality of education in the commune has improved, with substantial
investment in teaching facilities. The local kindergarten is in the process of
meeting the criteria for level-2 national standard by 2025, while the primary
and secondary school is undergoing renovations for re-recognition.
The movement for building a cultural life has been actively promoted, with no
households remaining in poverty, and only one classified as near-poor (0.09%).
The rate of residents participating in health insurance stands at 93.87%.
Sectors such as industrial production, handicrafts, construction, commerce, and
services have remained stable. In 2024, the average income per capita is
estimated to reach 70 million VND.
