The Hoa Binh provincial Party organisation has seriously implemented resolutions on Party building and political system construction in connection with the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW on studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, focusing on addressing issues, creating clear and substantial changes in fulfilling the political tasks of localities, agencies, and units.

Huu Nghi ward in Hoa Binh city has 17 residential groups, with a population of about 17,000 people. The ward Party organisation has 23 subordinate Party cells with nearly 800 Party members.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Van, Secretary of the ward Party Committee, said that closely following the direction of the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh city Party Committee, the ward's Party Committee developed a specific plan to implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW in connection with fulfilling local political tasks.
The ward’s Party Committee assigns tasks to the Standing Party Committee members and key leaders to direct major tasks, especially those relating to land management, construction, and communication activities to help people understand the Party and State’s policies, as well as the rights and responsibilities of the people.
Through the serious implementation of resolutions on Party building, the exemplary responsibility of officials and Party members, particularly leaders, has been clearly elevated. With regular and unexpected citizen reception, along with resolving complaints and denunciations within their authority, the ward has not seen any complicated or prolonged cases of mass complaints or denunciations.
According to Nguyen Thi Dung, Head of the Hoa Binh city Party Committee’s Communication and Education Department, implementing resolutions on Party building, especially Resolution No. 03 of the city Party Committee regarding the responsibility of officials and Party members to set an example, particularly those at the head of Party committees and the government, has played an important role in enhancing urban management in Hoa Binh city, mobilising investment resources, implementing projects, and striving to meet the criteria for urban classification type II.
From the serious implementation of resolutions on Party building and political system construction, and by promoting the role of officials and Party members, the Kim Boi district Party Committee has effectively directed the site clearance work for two key projects - the regional connection road project and the project on ecological urban area, high-end entertainment, and the Cuoi Ha cable car system.
The provincial Party Committee has focused on leading and directing Party organsiations to seriously build and implement the resolution on Party construction and rectification, in connection with implementing the Politbuor's Directive No. 05. This has created positive changes in the awareness and actions of officials and Party members, identifying manifestations and proposing immediate solutions to combat and prevent signs of degradation in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle.
Various aspects of Party building have seen significant changes, implementing synchronised steps in personnel affairs. This includes reviewing standards, conditions, and recruitment processes, planning, rotation, transfer, promotion, appointment, and introducing candidates for leadership and management positions in accordance with decentralisation.
Additionally, the provincial Party Committee’s standing board established inspection teams to oversee the review process of agencies and units to timely address violations in recruitment, planning, and personnel appointment at all levels.
The provincial Party Committee assigned provincial leaders to monitor localities and considered local monitoring results as important criteria for evaluating and ranking the quality of officials, forming the basis for personnel arrangements and usage.
Personnel work has been carried out effectively in conjunction with preparing personnel for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; issuing documents to prepare for Party Congresses at all levels and establishing three subcommittees to serve the 18th provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. A review and addition of planning for the 2020-2025, 2021-2026 terms, as well as the 2025-2030, 2026-2031 terms, has also been conducted.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee has held a conference to announce decisions regarding the apparatus restructuring of the province’s political system and personnel affairs.
Following the results of the military enlistment examination for 2025, Lac Son district has seen 100 young men and women volunteering to enlist in the military. Among these recruits, there are several families where two siblings have both written voluntary enlistment letters, eager to undertake the sacred task of protecting the nation.
As the Party Organisation and people of Hoa Binh province welcome the arrival of spring, they take pride in the remarkable achievements obtained under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), which turns 95 this spring. With a shared determination to build a prosperous future, they embrace ambitious aspirations for national development, joining hands with the whole country to prepare to enter a new era-one of national progress and advancement.
In 2023, the relic site where President Ho Chi Minh visited the Chi Hoa Production Group in Lam Son commune, Luong Son district of Hoa Binh province, was officially recognised as a provincial-level revolutionary historical site. Each year, it draws numerous visitors from across Vietnam and abroad, becoming a "red address" for educating young generations on the nation's revolutionary traditions.
According to the Party Charter, Party members who have been active in the revolution for a long time, and have maintained their Party membership for 30 years and more, will be awarded the Party badge. This is a noble reward, not only a source of pride and excitement for the Party members themselves and their families, but also a source of pride for the Party organisation that has such outstanding members who are shining examples for everyone to learn from and follow.
On the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930–2025), the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board offered flowers and incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site of the late leader’s visit to the Chi Hoa production group in Luong Son district on February 3. The delegation included Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, and leaders of the Party Committee of Luong Son district.
