According to the Party Charter, Party members who have been active in the revolution for a long time, and have maintained their Party membership for 30 years and more, will be awarded the Party badge. This is a noble reward, not only a source of pride and excitement for the Party members themselves and their families, but also a source of pride for the Party organisation that has such outstanding members who are shining examples for everyone to learn from and follow.

73-year-old Nguyen Dang Ram, who has 54-year Party
membership in Doan Ket area’s Party cell, Ba Hang Doi town (Lac Thuy), shared
that each time he is awarded a Party badge, he is extremely emotional.
Born in 1952, in Ha Nam province’s Binh Luc district, Ram
joined the army at the age of 18, and was admitted to the Communist Party of
Vietnam one year later. After the Great Victory in Spring 1975, he returned to
his hometown with health problems caused by Agent Orange. He then studied
agriculture, and in 1979, he worked at Thanh Ha Farm (now Thanh Ha Hoa Binh One
Member Co. Ltd., Ba Hang Doi town, Lac Thuy district). He is currently Chairman
of the town’s Association of Victims of Agent Orange. Participating in the
Party Committee of the Doan Ket area, at each Party meeting, he has contributed
ideas and experiences to build the Party cell increasingly clean and strong;
and encouraged people to well implement all policies and guidelines of the
Party, policies and laws of the State and emulation movements in the locality,
contributing to making the Doan Ket Party cell achieve exemplary clean and strong
status for many consecutive years.
According to the provincial Party Committee's Organisation
Commission, in 2024, the province awarded Party badges to 1,166 Party members
with 65 years, 60 years, 55 years, 50 years, 45 years, 40 years and 30 years of
Party membership.
These Party badges are not simply a recognition of how long
one is a Party member, but this is an extremely noble reward of the Party,
recognising their contributions, sacrifices, and dedication to the Party, the
homeland, and the country. This is also the pride of each Party member to
continue to practice and strive for the common mission of the Party, and act as
a shining example for generations of Party members to follow.
On the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930–2025), the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board offered flowers and incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site of the late leader’s visit to the Chi Hoa production group in Luong Son district on February 3. The delegation included Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, and leaders of the Party Committee of Luong Son district.
Ahead of the Year of the Snake, a delegation of reporters from central and local press agencies, together with representatives of Brigade 146 from Naval Region 4, boarded Vessel HQ-561 to pay a Lunar New Year (Tet) visit to Truong Sa archipelago.
On these days, the working delegations from the central government, the province, businesses and many organizations and individuals have visited and presented gifts to the poor households and the families under the preferential policies with care, sharing, wishing everyone and every family to have a warm, prosperous and happy Tet.
A delegation of Laos’ Houaphanh province led by Khampheng Saysompheng, a member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Governor of Houaphanh, has paid a visit to Hoa Binh province to extend their Tet (Lunar New Year) greetings to the local Party organisation, administration and people.
The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee held a ceremony on January 15 to announce the Prime Minister’s decision on personnel affairs and handover of duties of the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee. The event was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.
