A delegation of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam led by Ambasador Sandeep Arya paid a working trip to Hoa Binh province on April 1, aiming to explore cooperation opportunities. The delegation was received by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, along with Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and representatives from various departments and agencies.

During the meeting, Ambassador Arya introduced India’s
scholarship programmes for Vietnamese students, officials, and civil servants
as well as upcoming initiatives to enhance Vietnam-Indiacooperation in tourism and culture. He also suggested organising the
International Day of Yoga and the Indian Film Festival in Hoa Binh,
highlighting his wish to strengthen relations between Vietnam and India.
Appreciating the ambassador’s proposals, Long said he hopes the
ambassador will help invite Indian travel agencies to explore Hoa Binh’s scenic
beauty, cultural heritage, and tourism potential to promote tourism
cooperation. Regarding India’s scholarship opportunities, he pledged to
disseminate information to local students and cadres to encourage their
participation.
To foster deeper cooperation with India, the provincial leader sought the
ambassador’s support in facilitating the export of key agricultural products
from Hoa Binh, such as pomelo and honey to the Indian market. He also
emphasised the province’s interest in attracting Indian travel companies,
technology firms, and pharmaceutical manufacturers to the locality.
Additionally, he called on the ambassador to help promote collaboration between
top Indian universities and Vietnam, including the possibility of establishing
their branches in Hoa Binh.
The Indian Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended
by Hoa Binh leaders and acknowledged his host's proposals on expanding
cooperation and investment promotion in various fields in the province and
Vietnam as a whole.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style. This approach has contributed significantly to improving the overall quality of education across the district.
The Hoa Binh provincial museum on May 16 opened a thematic exhibition "Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam" with more than 200 documents, images and objects featuring the glorious 95-year journey of the Party.
