Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse arrived at the Auckland International Airport on the morning of March 12, beginning their three-day official visit to New Zealand at the invitation of New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
The Vietnamese PM was welcomed at the airport by Deborah
Russel, a member of the New Zealand parliament; New Zealand Ambassador to
Vietnam Wendy Matthews; leaders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of New
Zealand; Vietnamese Ambassador to New Zealand Nguyen Viet Dung; and officials
of the Vietnamese Embassy in New Zealand.
During his stay in New Zealand, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc will
hold talks with his New Zealand counterpart, Jacinda Andern, and witness the
signing of important cooperation documents between the two sides. The
Government leader will also have a bilateral meeting with Speaker of the New
Zealand House of Representatives, Travor Mallard.

PM Phuc is scheduled to meet with Mayor of Auckland Phil
Goff and the Vietnamese community in New Zealand this afternoon.
During the trip, the
Vietnamese leader will attend the Vietnam-New Zealand Business Forum, in
addition to hosting a reception for the leaders of a number of New Zealand’s
leading companies.

In line with the Resolution No. 25 of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the move aims to streamline personnel, standardise leadership roles, and strengthen the police force’s capacity while creating better conditions for modernising equipment.
The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.
