The enterprises of the province boldly structured and organized the linkages, seized new opportunities and shifted their investment to the fields with competitive advantages of the province.

Esquel Textile and Garment Group - a foreign company investing in a factory in Luong Son Industrial Park operates and makes a profit among foreign invested enterprises. In 2017, the company was honorable to receive the excellent emulation flag of the provincial People's Committee. Currently, the company is planning to invest in expanding production, creating jobs for 1,000 workers by 2019.

Private enterprises in the province are restructuring, reorganizing production, reducing costs, boldly investing in new areas of business that have previously been little or no interest. From the restructuring of the enterprise, focusing on the human factor, improving the business administration competence, implementing the "breakthrough" business solutions, Hoang Son Company effectively implemented many important invested projects in the fields of commerce, hydropower and being the successful investor of many important projects inside and outside the province, building prestige by many projects and constructions which contribute to the development of structure Socio-economic infrastructure of the province.

Hoa Binh Tourism joint Stock Company is one of the first enterprises to invest in tourism on Hoa Binh Lake. The company is implementing some key projects.

Up to now, the province has 2,773 enterprises, 385 cooperatives, 36,487 individual business households which are actively contributing to job creation and economic restructuring of the province. Annually, enterprises have achieved the turnover of trillions VND, creating new production capacity, paying hundreds of billions of VND to the state budget, creating jobs for thousands of workers, contributing significantly to the restructuring of the economy to sustainable development under provincial planning. In 2017, in the context of many difficulties, the province still achieved the economic growth rate (GRDP) of 9.46%. The total investment capital of the whole society was 11,840 billion VND. The export value reached at 505 million USD. The average income per capita reached at 40.5 million VND.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies.
