(HBO) – In a period that spanned 2017 and the first half of 2018, Hoa Binh saw 26 outstanding students becoming members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Statistics also showed that the Party development work was only
done well at two educational establishments – the Hoang Van Thu High School for
the Gifted with five students admitted as Party members last year and eight
others in 2018, and the Hoa Binh College for Education with eight students admitted
in 2017.

Since
the beginning of 2018 to date, the Party committee at the Hoang Van Thu High
School for the Gifted has supported eight outstanding students to gain
admission to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The entire province has 29,000 students studying at 36 high
schools, 10 boarding secondary and high schools for ethnic students, one boarding
high schools for ethnic students, and 10 vocational training centres, among
other establishments. Many of them have reached the age of 18 and are eligible
to become a member of the Party.
In 2017, the provincial Department of Education and Training selected
80 students to take part in a Party knowledge course but only 15 were admitted
to the Communist Party of Vietnam. The Hoa Binh College for Education sent 49
students to the course, of whom eight became members of the Party.
Fifty-nine students were selected to attend a Party knowledge
course this year, with 11 becoming Party members.
These figures drew a conclusion that in addition to the candidates
yet to reach 18, the guidance and support for selected students after Party
knowledge courses remained ineffective.
