At the meeting, voters appreciated the PCC’s concretisation of the regulations on the responsibility of Party cadres and members to set an example.

Regarding the PCC’s nomination of General Secretary, Nguyen Phu Trong, as a presidential candidate to be elected by the National Assembly, voters said that people absolutely believe and support him to take on the great responsibility to serve the Party, nation and people.

The Party chief also said that the nomination was discussed democratically and received a high unity as well as being supported by public opinion in the country and abroad.

In addition, some voters gave their opinions on ‘hot’ issues in society, such as the redundancy of teachers, the school milk programme, textbooks and settlement of untrusted properties.
