Nath Kovind and his spouse are making a State visit to Vietnam from November 18
to 20 at the invitation of President Nguyen Phu Trong.
This is the first visit to Vietnam and also the first to Asia
by President Ram Nath Kovind since he took office in July 2017.
The visit is significant in continuing the efforts to cement
and develop the growing comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and
India.
Earlier, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, his spouse and
entourage paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum, and laid
a wreath at the Memorials to martyrs.

The delegation was welcomed by Hoang Thuy Duong, Consul General of Vietnam in the city, and staff members of the consulate.
