(HBO) – Party Central Committee member and Chairman of the Presidential Office Dao Viet Trung, and Party Central Committee member and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh have handed over 70 gifts to workers in Hoa Binh city on the occasion of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.
The
gifts, 50 from the Presidential Office and 20 from the Hoa Binh provincial Party
Committee, were presented to poor workers working in Hoa Binhk knitting
company, GGS company, Sankoh Vietnam company and R lens company.

Addressing
the ceremony to present the gifts, on behalf of the Presidential Office, Trung
thanked foreign firms in Vietnam for paying attention to taking care of
workers, especially poor ones.
He
underlined that during their production and business development, the companies
should make more efforts to care for poor workers, especially during Tet and other
festivals. On the occasion of the New Year, he wished the workers good health
and a happy and warm Tet festival, expressing his hope that they will make more
contributions to boosting the fast and sustainable growth of Hoa Binh.

The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
