(HBO) – A delegation from Hoa Binh province led by Bui Van Tinh, a member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, visited Australia from April 13-17 at the invitation of Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Ngo Huong Nam.
The
delegation included Bui Van Cuu, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s
Committee, as well as leaders of Departments of Planning and Investment,
Agriculture and Rural Development, and Education and Training.
Bui Van Tinh, a
member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party
Committee visits the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia.
The
visit aimed to expand the partnership between Hoa Binh and Australian cities
such as Canberra, Sydney,
and Melbourne,
especially in education, agriculture and investment promotion.
At
a working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia, the delegation
introduced the potential, advantages and investment attraction policies of the
province in economy, especially in agriculture and tourism.
Congratulating
Hoa Binh on its achievements and speaking highly of the province’s economic
potential, Ambassador to Australia Ngo Huong Nam said that he will continue
introducing Australian investors to Hoa Binh to seek partnership opportunities.
To
boost partnership in agriculture and investment promotion, the delegation had a
working session at Southern Cross University on cooperation in implementing a
project to support the storing and packaging of products as part of efforts to
export citrus products - a strength of Hoa Binh.
At
a working session with Biotechnology company from Queensland State,
the two sides sought measures to collaborate in producing technological
products to protect agricultural crops from pests and preserving harvested farm
produce without using chemicals.
On
education area, the delegation worked with Nicole Zabbal, Country Manager for Australia at Study Global Partner – a
technology-based student recruiter providing thousands of studying programmes
at universities of Australia,
Canada and the US.
The
delegation visited Canberra Institute of Technology, during which the two sides
shared experience in vocational training and effective measures to assess
students’ capacity and provide them with orientation.
During
their stay, the delegation also had working sessions at Ainslie primary school
in Canberra and
Education Directorate of Australian Capital Territory on education management
and quality improvement.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
