(HBO) – With 42 members, the Party cell of Ao Trach hamlet is one of the outstanding collectives of Dan Hoa commune in particular and Ky Son district in general in mass mobilization work.
Over 95 percent of rural
roads in Ao Trach hamlet, Dan Hoa commune, have been paved, thus facilitating
travelling of local people.
Bui
Van Ty, Secretary of the Party cell, said the cell has made hamlet mass
mobilisation groups, which gather Party members and representatives of local
organiations, as the core unit of mass mobilization work. The study of the
Politburo’s Directive No. 05 on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s
ideology, morals and lifestyle, has created significant changes in mass mobilization
work. All Party members have registered for thematic study, which has been
included in criteria for assessing Party members each year.
In
economic development, the hamlet has focused on shifting towards plants with
high economic values. Since 2014, Ao Trach has replaced sugarcane on more than
2.5ha of land with citrus, mostly pomelo. Ty said to persuade local people to
switch to pomelo cultivation, many Party members have set the example for
others to follow.
In
building new rural areas, the role of Party members has been clearly seen when many
Party members like Nguyen Van Tien, Nguyen Van Khien and Nguyen Thi Mien have
devoted their land to public projects. Since 2011, local Party members and
people have contributed thousands of square metres of housing and production
land to the purpose of building roads and canals.
Neither
social evils nor legal violations have been reported in the hamlet, helping it
to win the title of Cultural Hamlet for 21 consecutive years.
Last
year, five Party members of the cell were classified as excellently fulfilling
their duties and 37 others well fulfilling their tasks./.
