(HBO) - During the days of July, the blue shirt covers throughout the countryside of Tan Lac district. Promoting the shocking role of the young and the morality of "Drinking water, remembering the source", the members of the Youth Union in Tan Lac district have been implementing many meaningful summer volunteer programs, notably the activities to help people with meritorious services and families under the preferential treatment policy.

district have been supporting the working days to pour the concrete yard for
Mr. Bui Van Hanh, the family under the preferential treatment policy in Trang
hamlet, Gia Mo commune in the month of repaying for the favour.

Lac’s Communist Union says that every July, the district’s Communist Union
often directs the grassroots Communist Unions to organize the activities of
repaying for the favour. In particular, they always visit and support the
working days for the families under the preferential treatment policy and the
people with meritorious services to the revolution. In this month of repaying
for the favour, there are 3 volunteer groups of university students in Tan Lac
district. The volunteer groups together with the members of the Communist Union
have been visiting, giving gifts and supporting hundreds of working days the
families under the preferential treatment policy and the people with
meritorious services to the revolution.
"In the month of repaying for the
favour, as well as throughout the working programs of the district’s Communist
Union, we have all determined that the each member of the Communist Union must
show the role of a shocking force, especially the care and the supporting
activities for the families under the preferential treatment policy and the
people with meritorious services to the revolution. Depending on the
characteristics of each locality and the needs of the families under the
preferential treatment policy and the people with meritorious services to the
revolution, the local Communist Union chooses jobs to support and help. These
jobs are not only meaningful in contributing to taking care of the life for the
families under the preferential treatment policy and the people with
meritorious services to the revolution, it also educates the young generation
on morality of "Drinking water, remembering the source ”- the Secretary of the
Communist Youth Union of Tan Lac district emphasized.
After three years of implementing the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on continuing performing Directive 05-CT/TW on enhancing the learning and studying of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, moral example and lifestyle, Lac Thuy district of Hoa Binh province has discovered many effective models and practices, creating a spillover effect in the local community, helping to develop a clean and strong Party Organisation meeting the requirements in the new situation.

The delegation was welcomed by Hoang Thuy Duong, Consul General of Vietnam in the city, and staff members of the consulate.
