(HBO) - A working delegation led by Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh province’s Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh on July 23 visited and presented gift to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dao Thi Dan in Dong Tien ward, Hoa Binh city, on the occasion of the 72nd Vietnam War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).
The delegation included representatives from the
provincial Party Committee’s office and home affairs board, Department of
Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Military High Command, and officials
of Hoa Binh city and the Hoa Binh branch of the Bank for Investment and
Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

Mother
Dao Thi Dan (born in 1919) has the two sons -Nguyen Duc Coi and Nguyen Duc Tao-
who laid down in the
struggle for national liberation and defence.
Presenting gifts from the State President, the provincial Party Committee,
People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to Mother
Dan, Tran Dang Ninh, Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh province’s Party Committee
and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, said the Party Committee and
people of Hoa Binh province always keep in their mind and show their gratitude
contributions and sacrifices of the previous generations in the struggle for
national liberation.
He wished Vietnamese Heoric Mother Dao Thi Dan good health. He
hoped her family would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, and encourage
their children to actively contribute to the homeland’s development.

Muong Bi - Tan Lac, one of the four major Muong ethnic minority-inhabited regions in Hoa Binh, is known for not only its distinctive cultural identity but also its proud history of heroism, with great contributions to the victory against US invaders in the past. Today, Tan Lac district continues to uphold this legacy while embracing development and renewal.
March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
