(HBO) - The emulation bloc of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organisations in Hoa Binh province has organised a conference to review emulation movements in the first half of 2019 and carry out tasks for the second half.
In recent times, units
in the bloc have taken the initiative in steering and implementing tasks
effectively. The units have stepped up the implementation of patriotic
emulation movements launched by the provincial People’s Committee and the Prime
Minister and the Party Central Committee’s Emulation – Commendation Council, as
well as special emulation movements launched by the provincial People’s Committee
in the 2016-2019 period.
In the first six
months of 2019, Fatherland Fronts at all levels intensified disseminations,
encouraged the society to support the fund for the poor, mobilised social
resources to implement poverty reduction and social welfare programmes, and
carried out relief and charitable activities.

At the conference, delegates
discussed and agreed on orientations and missions for the remaining months of
this year. The emulation bloc will maintain close coordination in encouraging
officials, members and people from all walks of life to participate in
patriotic emulation movements, thus contributing to well implement
socio-economic development and security-defence missions of the province in
2019.

The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
