The
province’s leaders meet and talk with outstanding people in studying the
Politburo’s Directive No.5.
After five decades implementing the late president’s testament, the province’s Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups have achived many important results in different aspects of social affairs. The province has greatly focused on Party building, which is fundamental to developing a clean and strong political system. The local economy has also developed, improving people’s living standard. Social welfare policies have been well enforced while the national solidarity bloc has been also strengthened.
During the 3-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.5 on promoting studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, the province has strengthened the leadership roleof Party committees at all levels. Party committees and Party organisations in the province have integrated the directive into patriotic emulation movements and campaigns and the fulfilment of political tasks to solve major problems. There were more and more good and innovative deeds and practices and exemplary models in all areas.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Tran Dang Ninh praised the achievements that the districts, communes and people have made in the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament and the Politburo’s Directive No.5.
He directedthe province to continue raising awareness of the significance of the two documents among Party committees and administrations at all levels, the local Fatherland Font, socio-political organisations, governmental officials, Party members and people, and identify major issues that require more attention in the coming time.
Provincial-level units and organisations were assigned to provide greater support to disadvantaged communes while Party committees and administrations at all levels must translate the testament and directive into specific goals and action plans and programmes.
Ninh also asked for greater focus on developing, discovering and popularising effective models and practices and outstanding individuals and organisations, as well as improvement in quality of Party cells’ activities and strengthened monitoring and examination of the implementation.
On the occasion, a collective and two individuals were awarded the Prime Minister’s certificate of merit in recognition of their outstanding performance in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style during the period from 2016 – 2018.
Three A, 7 B and 12 C prizes were also presented to winners of a competition for composing literature, arts and journalism works in promoting the studying of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style./.
