(HBO) - The Hoa Binh People’s Committee has held a cultural and musical exchange to welcome the 3rd congress of ethnic minority groups in the province.

Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh and other local leaders talk to artists who performed at the exchange.

The show was attended by Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh; member of the Party Central Committee and Minister-Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs Do Van Chien; member of Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh; Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan; and Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh, along with 245 representatives of more than 630,000 ethnic people in Hoa Binh.

The event featured traditional songs and dances of local ethnic groups, which praise the Party, the late President Ho Chi Minh, and Hoa Binh province. They also promoted the cultural values of local ethnic minorities and nurtured patriotism and trust in the leadership of the Party and State.

Notably, the event included an exchange with groups and individuals, who have made outstanding performances in implementing ethnic minority policy during 2014-2019. As local role models, they are honoured at the congress, which take place on October 15, 2019./.
