(HBO) – A working team of the provincial Party Standing Committee, led by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan, on October 23 had a working session with the Party Standing Committee of Da Bac district on the implementation of the resolution adopted at the 16th provincial Party Congress and resolution passed at the 24th district Party Congress for 2015-2020.

Carrying
out the resolution of the Party congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020
tenure, the district had 23 out of the 24 criteria reaching or surpassing the
set target. It has been on the right track on economic structure shifting. Per
capita income surged 160 percent from the beginning of the tenure while the
poverty rate dropped to 32 percent.
The province also enjoyed robust results in investment attraction and
socio-cultural development.
With five criteria, which the district described difficult to reach the target
set at the 16th provincial Party congress, the district Party
Standing Committee explained the reasons and affirmed it will carry out
comprehensive measures so as to fulfill the entrusted mission.
Tuan spoke highly of the district’s efforts to implement the resolutions, and
asked the locality to focus on five key missions of priotising the building of
Party and political system, and penning a sustainable socio-economic
development strategy.
The district should pay due attention to improving the efficiency of planning
work and tightly manage local natural resources, he said, stressing more
efforts need to be channel into poverty alleviation and social welfare through
effectively implementing assistance programmes and projects.
Particularly, he asked Da Bac district to make meticulous preparation for the Party
congresses at all levels, as well as mobilise resources to fulfill the remaining
targets set at the 16th provincial Party congress./.
