(HBO) – Officials and Party members of Dong Tam commune in Hoa Binh province’s Lac Thuy district have taken the lead in local socio-economic development, the national target programme on new-style rural area development and stepping up the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.5 on promoting the campaign "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle”.

In order to create widespread
effect, members of the communal Party Committee; officials of departments,
agencies, socio-political organisations always take the lead in abiding by the Party’s
policies, State’s laws, raising a sense of responsibility for serving the
people. The communal Party Committee devised a plan and assigned members of the
executive committee to acquire public aspirations, thus offering timely
support.
It is clearly shown in Party Cell
of Suoi Tep hamlet. Several Party members from over 50 households were asked by
the Mai Chau district Party Committee to move from landslide areas in Tan Mai
and Phuc San communes to a resettlement area in group 4, Song Boi One Member
Ltd, Dong Tam commune, Lac Thuy district. Many officials and Party members integrated
quickly and joined all activities at Suoi Tep hamlet’s Party Cell. Due to economic
difficulties in new living area, the communal Party Committee considered it an
important responsibility that should be placed at the top. Specifically, it
called on individuals and collectives to help each Party member living in need
and present gifts to them during New Year or festivals. Therefore, many Party
members have upheld their exemplary role in local socio-economic development.
In particular, Dong Tam has met
criteria for new-style rural area since 2015. During new rural development process,
the communal Party Committee fully pooled public resources. Dong Noi hamlet’s
Party Cell was chosen to build a model residential area and model garden. Many
officials and Party members donated land for road construction, actively
switched to new crops and animals to bring higher economic efficiency. Teacher
Luu Thi Ho Lan, Vice Rector and Secretary of the Party Cell of Dong Tam
kindergarten pioneered in teaching and studying while Secretary of Dong Noi
hamlet’s Party Cell Ngo Thi Lien built a new cultural lifestyle in residential
areas.
Lives in Dong Tam commune are improving
day by day. In order to reap such achievements, it is impossible not to mention
the involvement and high determination of the entire political system, leaders
of Party Cells and pioneering role of each official and Party member, in line
with the motto "Party members go first, villagers follow”./.
The Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation of Hoa Binh province convened a meeting on March 11 to deploy key tasks.

The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

Today, Tan Lac district continues to uphold this legacy while embracing development and renewal.
March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
