(HBO) - Canh Ty New Year is coming. Activities to take care of Tet holiday for the poor and policy families of Hoa Binh province are being paid attention to and focused on implementation. The localities reviewed the list of poor households and policy families to fully implement the policies of the Party, the State and the province so that everyone and every family would have Tet.

Hoa Binh Red Cross Association coordinated to give Tet gifts to poor households in Tan Thanh commune (Luong Son district) for the New Year.

Mrs. Dang Bich Ngoc, Vice Chairman of Hoa Binh Fatherland Front Committee said: The Standing Committee of Hoa Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee built a plan to visit and give gifts to poor households in the province. Accordingly, Hoa Binh Fatherland Front Committee will coordinate with the authorities and functional agencies, member organizations to mobilize support and organize visits and gifts for the poor. Pay special attention to policy families, poor households affected by natural disasters and remote areas; poor households are workers, officials and laborers working in disadvantaged areas... Guiding the district Fatherland Front to support poor households from the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels and other sources of mobilization to ensure the right subjects and  efficiency. Time for gift giving is concentrated from 9 - 17/1/2020.

From the provincial "For the poor" Fund, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee plans to allocate 500 gifts to poor households in 11 districts and cities. There have been a number of units and businesses inside and outside the province that have registered to support Tet gifts with thousands of gifts, such as the provincial Social Policy Bank registered to give 200 gifts, 1 millin per gift... 

In 2019, Hoa Binh province has 24,771 poor households, accounting for 11.36%. Policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services have 13,406 households. The provincial People's Committee made a plan to support giving gifts to poor households, policy families and people with meritorious services on the occasion of Tet holiday 2020. Accordingly, policy beneficiary families and people with meritorious services will receive gifts from the President and the provincial. The object of the elderly, lonely, helpless, orphans, wandering... are also interested in proposing support. 

Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs will set up a task force to resolve the regimes for those who wander. The common spirit is to deliver gift to the right subjects in sufficient quantities, timely and transparently. 

These activities demonstrate the fine humanistic tradition of the Vietnamese people.

It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

Initial workdays of merged departments, agencies: A smooth transition

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
