(HBO) – A delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs, led by Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong, had a working session with the provincial People’s Committee to assess the implementation of the local home affairs sector’ human resources planning and development strategy in 2019. Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu and leaders of several departments, sectors, city and districts were present at the session.

The province will be in need of 217 staff in the home affairs sector by 2025, all of whom must satisfy standards in foreign languages and computing. Under the planning, the proportion of young cadres under 45 years old eligible to the personnel planning scheme is 60 percent, 20-30 percent of whom are women. 

By 2035, the province’s human resources demand in the field is forecast to surge to 238 people. They are all required to hold bachelor degrees and 29 percent of them must have master’s degrees.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu said that Hoa Binh is arranging administrative agencies at district and communal levels, and the home affairs sector plays an important role in the work. 

In addition to attained achievements, the local home affairs sector still had numerous difficulties, including the shortage of high-quality human resources, he said, suggesting the ministry have appropriate mechanisms to attract human resources in religious work.

Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong said that the inspection aims to evaluate implementation progress, and collect recommendations of localities to have a general review of the national strategy on human resources development during 2011-2020. 

He asked Hoa Binh province to complete its report with retailed recommendations and proposals, and the send to the ministry as soon as possible./.
