(HBO) – Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan recently had a working session with the Standing Board of the Da Bac district Party Committee to look into preparations for all-level Party congresses towards the 13th National Party Congress, along with the implementation of the Government’s Resolutions 42 on support for people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was attended by officials of departments, sectors and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

Complying with directives, plans and guidelines
by the Party Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee on the
organisation of all-level Party congresses, as of March 30, all Party cells
subordinate to grassroots-level Party committees in Da Bac organised congresses
for the new tenure.
After the model Party congress of Da Bac
township, due to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact, only 13 of the 40
grassroots-level Party cells and organisations in the district held congresses
for the 2020-2025 tenure as of May 28. The remainders are set to finish
organising similar events by June 20.
Regarding the implementation of the Government’s
Resolution 42 on support for pandemic-hit people, Da Bac district has completed
the first phase of financial aid distribution, with more than 25 billion VND
(over 1 million USD) given to 31,372 locals.
Speaking at the session, Vice Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan said all-level Party congresses in the
run up to the 13th National Party Congress is important political activities of
the entire Party, army and people.
Given this, to gear up for the congresses, the
Party Committee of Da Bac district needs to step up disseminating directions
and guidelines by the Party Central Committee and the provincial Party
Committee, while making thorough document and personnel preparations to ensure
the success of the events, especially the district’ Party Congress for
2020-2025.
Particularly, the political report and the other
reviewing the district Party Committee’s performance must set up detailed
orientations and breakthrough solutions for socio-economic development.
Besides, personnel standards must not be lowered while the new-tenure Party
Committee of the district needs to ensure internal solidarity and unanimity and
be capable of performing tasks in the new context./.

It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.
