(HBO) - A working delegation led by Bui Duc Hinh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, on July 20, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Cho in Hoa Binh City’ Hoa Binh commune, as part of activities marking the 73rd Day of Martyrs and War Invalids (July 27, 1947 – 2020).
The delegation grouped representatives from the provincial
People’s Committee Office, the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and
Social Affairs, the Hoa Binh City People’s Committee, and the provincial branch
of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

Mother Cho, born in 1926, has two sons, Nguyen Van Than and
Nguyen Van Sac, killed while serving in the army during wartime. Than died in
1972 and Sac in 1971, both in the Southern battleground. Currently, Cho is
living with her fifth son Nguyen Hung Ngat.
Hinh presented the mother gifts from the provincial People’s
Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee.
The leader expressed his gratitude toward heroic Vietnamese
mothers for giving birth and raising brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives
for the nation’s independence. He wished Cho good health and a long life.
On the occasion, representatives of other agencies and
sectors also presented their gifts to her./.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
