A ceremony was held in Hanoi on August 13 to launch the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly 2020’s official website, mobile application and identity programme.

The event was attended by Chairwoman of National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, who is also Chair of the AIPA 41 and Head of the National Steering Committee and the Organising Committee for the AIPA 41; NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong; and NA Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu.
The website at http://aipa2020.vn and mobile application for AIPA 2020 are the official sources of information regarding the activities and events in 2020 as Vietnam assumes Chair of the AIPA as well as creates favourable conditions for registering and exchanging documents and giving online notifications fromthe organising board and national secretariat to members.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan lauded the opening of the official website, mobile application and identity programme for AIPA 2020.
She also noted that an important mission of the Vietnamese NA in 2020 is the successful organisation of AIPA 41 and related activities, contributing to highlighting the achievements of diplomacy and parliamentary diplomacy of the country.
The NA leader asked the organising board of AIPA 41 to direct the information and communication sub-committee in association with the AIPA 41 National Secretariat and other sub-committees to urgently update information on the official website and mobile application on the AIPA’s activities, especially regarding the AIPA 41 General Assembly.
She urged the enhancement of communication on the AIPA Chairmanship Year and AIPA 41 General Assembly in the media and particularly in relation to press conferences.

The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents.
