(HBO) – The People’s Committee of Hoa Binh on November 13 held a conference to review the implementation of the Vietnam youth development strategy and the provincial programme for youth development in the 2011-2020 period. The conference also looked back at 10 years conducting Resolution 45/NQ-CP which was issued on September 11, 2009 by the Government.

In the 2011-2020 period, Party Committees and administrations
at all levels have focused on leading and organising the education of ideology,
morality and lifestyle for young people, while issuing policies and mechanisms
to integrate the contents of the Vietnam youth development strategy and Resolution
45/NQ-CP into socio-economic development and work plans of agencies,
departments, creating favourable conditions for the youth to train themselves,
grow up and contribute to the nation.
All targets and criteria of the strategy have been basically
reached and surpassed. Notably, 100 percent of young people in the armed forces
and State agencies have attended classes on President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts,
morality and lifestyle.
In the period, 15,745 young people were admitted to the Party,
accounting for 78.1 percent of the all the newly-admitted Party members, surpassing
the target by 8.2 percent. Meanwhile, 100 percent of officials and public
servants at young age have been trained to meet the standards of management
officials. A total of 109,072 youngsters were provided with jobs.
Addressing the event, Nguyen Van Toan, Vice Chairman of the Hoa Binh People’s Committee suggested that in
the next period, localities, departments and relevant units should focus on building
plans to implement youth-related work, quickly dealing with shortcomings and weakness,
while defining the tasks and goals for the 2021-2030 period based on the
content of the Youth Law.
At the same time, it is necessary to continue promoting
communications, especially through social networks, while enhancing the
coordination among sectors, departments and agencies, along with strengthening
inspection and supervision over the implementation of the programme, as well as
paying greater attention to vocational training and the use of young officials
and admission of Party members, he said.
On the occasion, the provincial People’s Committee presented
certificates of merit to eight collectives and 21 individuals with outstanding
achievements in implementing the provincial youth development programme in the
2011-2020 period./.

It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
