(HBO) - The Party Committee of Hoa Binh city on April 27 held a conference to review the five-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.5 on promoting the studying and following of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle in the 2016-2021 period.

The event saw the attendance of Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh, along with leaders of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, representatives of the Party Committee’s Office and outstanding collectives and individuals.

Over the past five years, Hoa Binh city has obtained positive results in multiple fields. The implementation of the Directive has become a regular task of local party committees, party organisations and administrations at all levels and people. As a result, new models and methods were introduced by collectives and individuals, 174 of them were named excellent examples.

Addressing the conference, Hinh spoke highly of the outcomes in implementing Directive No.5 in Hoa Binh city as well as accomplishments of collectives and individuals.

He urged the city to focus on key tasks, improve quality of content on studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle at regular meetings of party cells at grassroots levels.

The city also needs to promote, appreciate and multiply outstanding models and creative methods. At the event, 15 excellent collectives and 30 individuals in the implementation of Directive No.5 for the 2016-2021 of Hoa Binh city were honoured./.
