(HBO) - The Party Committee of Cao Phong district held a conference to review the five-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.5 dated May 15, 2016 on promoting the studying and following of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle in the 2016-2021 period.

A leader of the Cao Phong district Party Committee presents certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in the implementation of the Directive.

Over the past five years, quality and efficiency in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle in the district have been improved. It opened 63 classes for more than 18,000 cadres and Party members. Political thoughts, morality and lifestyle of officals, Party members and people saw positive changes, contributing to building the Party and a pure and strong political system. As a result, many new models were introduced by collectives and individuals, 337 of them were named outstanding examples.

The district Party Committee has set targets of enhancing the studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle in keeping with efficient implementation of the Party’s directives, resolutions and regulations; promoting proactivity, creativeness and sense of responsibility of Party committees at all levels; and seeking new ways of implementation in a practical and suitable manner.

In addition, Party committees are requested to work with local authorities in carrying out Directive No. 5 and the Resolution of the fourth plenum of the 12th Party Central Committee, and devise seven groups of solutions to fulfill the tasks.

At the conference, 16 excellent collectives and 35 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No.5 were honoured.
