(HBO) – The Election Committee of Hoa Binh province on June 1 hosted a press conference to announce preliminary results of the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure. According to the preliminary election results,
six deputies to the 15th legislature were chosen at two constituencies in the
province, meeting the set quota and structure. Half of the deputies are women,
two belong to ethnic minority groups (33.33 percent), one is a young deputy
(16.67 percent), and two are re-elected (33.33 percent).
For the election of members of the provincial
People’s Council (17th tenure), all 58 deputies have been elected at 15
constituencies, of whom 12 are women (20.69 percent), 41 belong to ethnic
minority groups (70.69 percent), eight are below 40 years old (13.79 percent),
three are non-Party members (5.17 percent) and 22 are re-elected (37.93
percent).
All of the 333 seats at district-level People’s
Councils and 3,305 out of 3,322 seats at communal People’s Councils have also
been filled.
At the conference, the Election Committee
unveiled Resolution No. 149/NQ-UBBC dated May 25, 2021 on election results and
the list of 15 deputies to the provincial People’s Council for the 2021-2026
tenure./.
