(HBO) - Late in the afternoon of August 13th, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Tien Luc, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Commission fo Mass Mobilization, the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front gave 50 tons of rice to support Luong Son district in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemics. Mr. Bui Quang Toan, the Secretary of the District’s Party Committee, and the other leaders directly received the support and directed the allocation.

the provincial Fund for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19 pandemics.

At the rice donation ceremony, Mr. Bui Tien
Luc, the Head of the Provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization and the
Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, said: Due to the complicated
developments of Covid-19 pandemics, on the one hand the province mobilized to
support goods and essential products for Ho Chi Minh City, on the other hand,
it is necessary to simultaneously support for Luong Son district and Hanoi
city, which are implementing the social distance, especially for the vulnerable
people. It is hoped all people unite and
resolve to prevent the outbreak of Covid-19 in the province.
As an area bordering Hanoi capital, Luong Son
district has implemented the social distance from 6 p.m on July 27thaccording to Directive No. 10/CT-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee. The
prolonged social distancie has greatly affected a large number of people and
workers with difficult circumstances. On behalf of district leaders, Mr. Bui
Quang Toan, the Secretary of the District’s Party Committee thanked the
province for the timely support and sharing and they would direct the
allocation quickly to the right people. Specifically, the district would direct
the district’s Fatherland Front to coordinate with the Division of Labour,
Invalids and Social Affairs to review the poor, the near-poor households, the
families under preferrential policies, the freelance workers losing their jobs,
workers quitting their jobs, etc. to provide support as soon as possible.
