(HBO) – As the pandemic is developing complicatedly nationwide, to ensure the people's health and safety, on August 9, the provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 1369/UBND-KGVX on the implementation of the Prime Minister's direction on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Accordingly, chairpersons of People's Committees
of districts and city need to be more proactive in COVID-19 prevention and
control, stay vigilant against epidemic risks, implement drastically,
synchronously and effectively the set anti-pandemic measures under the motto
"active prevention, early detection, quick isolation, effective treatment,
and quickly stabilising the situation".
They must strictly control and prevent infection
sources from outside, zone off affected areas to stamp out the epidemic, and
effectively treat positive cases in the province; seriously implement
prevention and control measures in accordance with the directions of the Prime
Minister, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control,
the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee. They are responsible for
pandemic prevention and control work in areas of their charge./.
