(HBO) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front committee of Hoa Binh and the province’s National Assembly (NA) deputies on August 12 met voters in the form of a videoconference after the first session of the 15th NA.

deputies Hoang Duc Chinh reported outcomes of the 15th NA’s first session and
activities of the delegation at the event.
Constituents voiced their opinions on issues
related to policies for civil servants, investment attraction, job creation,
people’s income, socio-economic development, infrastructure investment, and
training of officials at grassroots level.
They also asked the NA to seek solutions to
promptly repel COVID-19, pay attention to labourers made jobless by the
pandemic, adjust prices of farm produce in line with developments of COVID-19,
as well as efficiently manage land and natural resources in the localities.
Addressing the event, Politburo member,
Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the PCC Organisation
Commission Truong Thi Mai touched on issues of public concern, including
COVID-19 prevention and control work, vaccination strategy, socio-economic
development plan for the remaining months, support for pandemic-hit people, and
policies for ethnic minority groups.

Party committee and head of the province’s delegation of NA deputies Ngo Van
Tuan clarified a number of issues under the province’s jurisdiction, notably
the local COVID-19 situation, social welfare, personnel and policies for
specific areas.
He underlined that local authorities will build
new mechanisms to attract investment, focusing on land clearance,
administrative reform, and infrastructure development, and create an open
investment climate to facilitate socio-economic growth in tandem with the
province’s potential and advantages./.
After three years of implementing the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on continuing performing Directive 05-CT/TW on enhancing the learning and studying of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, moral example and lifestyle, Lac Thuy district of Hoa Binh province has discovered many effective models and practices, creating a spillover effect in the local community, helping to develop a clean and strong Party Organisation meeting the requirements in the new situation.

The delegation was welcomed by Hoang Thuy Duong, Consul General of Vietnam in the city, and staff members of the consulate.
