They also considered the organisation of a forum and the first expo on agricultural and human resources cooperation between the two sides.

Consul General Vu Binh said the Vietnam - Japan relations are growing well, and the Northeast Asian country is boosting investment in Vietnam, adding that Japanese businesses pay attention to high-quality human resources and the application of high technology to agriculture to create products with high added value.

He pledged to coordinate with related agencies and organisations to promote investment, popularise Hoa Binh’s potential and strengths, and seek cooperation opportunities for the Japanese side and the province.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan provided information about local socio-economic development, noting that Hoa Binh, adjacent to Hanoi, boasts numerous advantages for agricultural development and has formed concentrated farming zones. Agreeing with the Consul General’s opinions, he assigned competent agencies to coordinate with related sides to carry out cooperation activities, firstly organising a booth introducing local potential and strengths, in order to hold an investment promotion conference in Japan in May 2022./.
