At the meeting, member of the working team from the city Party Committee listened to discussion of members of the Party cell on the building of a resolution guiding the implementation of socio-economic development and security-defence tasks in the time to come as well as their difficulties, aspirations and opinions for seeking solutions.

Nguyen Huu Hieu, Chairman of the Hoa Binh city Party Committee’s Inspection Commission said that by attending the meeting, members of the city Party Committee got a lot of information serving their leadership of agencies, wards and communes in implementing their tasks in a comprehensive manner.

In September, Nguyen Thi Dung, head of the city Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation also led a working team from the committee to attend a meeting of the Party cell of My village under Yen Mong Party organisation.

Under Regulation No.32 of the provincial Party Committee, members of the city Party Committee’s Standing Board must attend meetings of a local Party cell at least three times per year. After the regulation is issued, Hoa Binh city has strictly implemented the rule with fruitful outcomes.

By attending the meetings, the city Party Committee has gained thorough understanding on the real situation of the Party cell, its members and local residents, thus giving timely directions on the implementation of the Party Statute and rules as well as policies of the Party and State laws, and pin-pointing shortcomings in grassroots Party cells' meetings to timely instruct ways to improve the quality of the meetings.

Along with participating in Party cell’s meetings, members of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh city as well as leaders of the local government have held dialogues with local residents to listen to their opinions and aspirations.

Recently, the city Party Committee’s Standing Board has held a dialogue with residents in Thinh Lang ward. During the dialogue, leaders of the city answered many questions of locals in many issues, including those related to land reclaiming, ground clearance as well as land management and use.

With a spirit of frankness and readiness to listen, the dialogues have helped leaders of the Party Committee and government of Hoa Binh city give accurate directions to remove difficulties in implementing socio-economic tasks and targets.
