Yen Thuy sees good signs in Party membership development

(HBO) – As of December 24, 2021, the Party Organisation of Yen Thuy district had 33 grassroots Party organisations, including 15 grassroots Party cells, and 222 subordinate Party cells with total 5,475 Party members who are highly qualified in ideology and professional capacity and win trust from local residents.


The Party Committee of Ngoc Luong commune in Yen Thuy has regularly reviewed outstanding residents for the Party development work.

Pham Van Luu, Deputy Secretary of the district Party Committee, said that Party membership development has received great attention to ensuring the addition of more high-quality members to the Party, thus enhancing the leadership capacity and combativeness of the grassroots Party organisations.

The committee has directed local agencies, units and socio-political organisations to engage in developing the source of personnel for the Party, he said.

Luu said that the district Party Committee’s standing board has also directed local Party committees and Party cells to strengthen Party communications and education, seeking outstanding residents for Party membership, and building their own Party membership development plans. To date, 272 people are being listed as outstanding individuals to the Party.

In 2021, the district organised three training courses on the Party for 143 people and two others on Party theory for 104 new Party members.

Thanks to comprehensive measures in the work, in the year, the district Party Organisation admitted 138 new members, including one a private firm owner, equivalent to 11.5 percent of the yearly plan./.
