(HBO) – Advisory and support agencies of the provincial Party Committee on January 14 held an online conference to review their operation in 2021 and launch tasks for 2022. The event was chaired by Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the province’s National Assembly deputy delegation Ngo Van Tuan also attended the event.

Opening the conference, Ngo Van Tuan, member of
the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and
head of the National Assembly deputy delegation of Hoa Binh highlighted the
province’s achievements last year in Party building, defence-security,
improvement of the provincial competitiveness and business environment, with 16
out of 21 targets completed.
He commended advisory and support agencies of
the provincial Party Committee for fulfilling all their main duties and arising
tasks. They gave advice to the provincial Party organisation and the provincial
Party Committee’s Standing Board on the issuance of 1,364 documents directing
the implementation of tasks in all fields, he noted.
However, he pointed out a number of shortcomings
in their operation, including the inefficiency of some policies, as well as a lack
of responsibility among some Party members and officials, leading to the
imposition of disciplinary measures on 70 Party members last year. He asked
participants to find out reasons behind the problems and propose solutions to
them.
Participants at the conference agreed on the
major tasks of the agencies in 2022.
Addressing the event, Bui Duc Hinh, Standing
Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial
People’s Council requested the agencies to pay greater attention to personnel
development, administrative reform and leadership method renovation and
information technology application. They should also actively gather feedback
from local residents about complicated and sensitive issues so as to give
useful and timely advice to the provincial Party Committee, while ensuring
grassroots democracy and preventing corruption, he stressed./.
The 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Groups of Hoa Binh province was successfully held on November 15 at the provincial Culture Centre.
