Heads of party committees, administrations and governmental agencies have been tasked to take responsibility in receiving citizens and handling complaints and denouncements. They must assign officials to attend monthly meetings with citizens held by the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee and to directly receive citizens at offices in accordance to regulations.

Last year, citizen reception stations have received 863 groups of people, with 1,094 citizens, who visited to lodge complaints, denouncements, reports and proposals. Of the groups, the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee received 14 at nine meetings.

A total of 844 letters, including 94 complaints, 122 denouncements and 628 petitions, have been sent to the province’s citizen reception board in 2021. They all have been promptly handled in accordance with current regulations.

Last year, administrations at all levels held 90 dialogues with local residents, civil servants and workers to promptly resolve problems and prevent corruption and red tape.

At the same, standing members of the provincial People’s Council and the province's delegation of National Assembly deputies coordinated with the provincial Fatherland Front Committee to organise routine and theme meetings with local voters.

In the coming time, the province pledges to continue adhering fully to the laws on citizen reception, complaints and denouncements and improve the transparency of announcing results of the settlement of citizens’ complaints and denouncements, particularly in the fields of land, environmental protection, public investment, and personnel appointment./.
