(HBO) – Over the past years, late President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching that "smart mass mobilisation secures every success” has been the lodestar helping the entire political system in Cao Phong district effectively carry out mass mobilisation.

Thanks to "smart mass mobilisation”, Bac Phong commune of Cao Phong district has completed the building of a culture centre, meeting local residents’ demand.

Bac Phong commune met all the 19 new-style countryside criteria in late 2021. The wide and clean concrete roads, spacious houses, and the new culture centre are evidence of the effectiveness of "smart mass mobilisation” activities. During 2017 - 2021, 86 households in the commune donated nearly 5,000 square metres of land to the building of key structures, mainly roads. So far, 100 percent of the inter-village roads in Bac Phong have been paved, thus facilitating local residents’ travel.

Meanwhile, to boost "smart mass mobilisation” in tandem with social security ensuring, Tay Phong commune has implemented many creative measures to raise fund for charitable activities. For example, in early 2021, the Cao Phong Charity gave aid worth 2.1 million VND each for seven disadvantaged households and spent 15 million VND sourced from the Fund for the Poor to help a family in Lai village build a new house.

Apart from Bac Phong and Tay Phong, many other localities in Cao Phong have also fruitfully carried out the "smart mass mobilisation” movement. At present, there are 229 "smart mass mobilisation” models in the district, including 77 in the economic aspect, 102 in culture - society, 22 in defence - security, and 28 in political system building.

Each model has been developed in a sustainable and practical manner and on the basis of local residents’ demand, thus winning over public support.

Nguyen Cong Minh, head of the mass mobilisation board at the district’s Party Committee, said to continue promoting the "smart mass mobilisation” movement, the district will press on with communications to raise officials, Party members, and people’s awareness of the Ho Chi Minh ideology on mass mobilisation, frequently review and assess models to gain experience, discover good models able to be multiplied, set up new ones that match each place’s conditions, bring into play Party members’ role in developing those models, and commend the individuals and collectives with excellent performance in the "smart mass mobilisation” movement in a timely manner./.
