(HBO) – The Hoa Binh Ethnic Boarding High School, formerly known as the Hoa Binh Socialist Labour Youth School, on August 14 held an incence offering ceremony and a gathering of generations of teachers and students to mark the 60th anniversary of a visit by late President Ho Chi Minh to the school (August 17, 1962-2022).

At the ceremony taking place at the relic site
within the school, the historical visit on August 17 in 1962 was recalled. At
the event, President Ho Chi Minh said the school is to teach young people to
both study and work, and to serve in rural areas and at cooperatives.
Therefore, it is necessary to learn the professions and industries related to
the development of agricultural production and rural areas, he added.
The leader's remarks became the guideline for
all activities of the school during its construction and development.
Established on April 1, 1958, and running under the model of "learning by
doing", the educational establishment earned the title of Hero of Labour
on August 29, 1985.
The gathering attracted hundreds of teachers and
students from different generations, offering them a meaningful occasion to
remember the history of their school and the late President; to show their
gratitude for the Party and State; and to promote the President’s ideology,
morality and lifestyle./.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
