(HBO) – The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee held a meeting on September 29 to review the leadership over the implementation of tasks in the first nine months of 2022, discuss targets and tasks for the last quarter, and give opinions on some important draft documents. The event took place under the chair of Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.

Mr Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, addresses the meeting.

Participants shared the view that in the first nine months of 2022, the Party organisation, administration, armed forces, businesses, and people in Hoa Binh have taken drastic and all-round measures to fruitfully carry out the provincial Party Committee’s Resolution No 05-NQ/TU, dated December 13, 2021, on targets and tasks for this year. They have also thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the Party Central Committee’s resolutions and directives while pushing ahead with the Party and political system building and rectification, as well as task performance to obtain encouraging results.

In the first nine months, Hoa Binh posted an estimated GRDP growth rate of 10.32%, collected almost 4.66 trillion VND (195 million USD) for the State budget (equivalent to 73% of the target set by the provincial Party Committee, up 40% year on year), attracted 45 investment projects worth 31.48 trillion VND, and disbursed nearly 1.83 trillion VND in public investment (equivalent to 38% of the set target).

The province has stepped up administrative reforms and business climate improvement. It has also recorded important outcomes in the new-style country building and the "One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) programmes; improvements in education - training, health care, and science - technology; and guaranteed social security, political security, and social order and safety.

At the meeting, officials assessed achievements, pointed out weaknesses and causes, and proposed solutions for the time ahead, especially in terms of the Party building, the implementation of key projects, and socio-economic development. They also scrutinised some important draft documents and proposals.

In his remarks, Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, asked all-level Party committees and organisations, administrations, Fatherland Front committees, and agencies to boost their leadership over task implementation so as to achieve the best possible results in 2022.

He requested the provincial People’s Committee devise mechanisms and policies for facilitating economic activities; promote administrative reforms and the settlement of obstacles to key projects; mobilise every resource for improving people’s material and spiritual lives; guarantee social welfare, especially for poor and near-poor families; enhance efforts to ensure social order and safety; and actively learn people and businesses’ opinions to tackle difficulties in a timely manner./.
