(HBO) – Secretary of the Luong Son district Party Committee and Chairman of the district People’s Council Bui Quang Toan, along with Chairman of the district People’s Committee Nguyen Van Danh, held a dialogue on infrastructure building with residents of Luong Son township on November 28. This was part of the efforts to help this township meet the criteria for a ward-level administrative unit by 2025.

Through a survey by the mass mobilisation board of the district Party Committee, more than 900 opinions from local residents were submitted, focusing on such issues as the attitude and performance by officials, civil servants, and public employees; the construction of transport infrastructure; landscaping, waste treatment, water supply systems, cemetery planning; power grids; drainage network; anti-erosion embankment along rivers and springs; and planning activities and planning management.
People of Luong Son township proposed district authorities continue their attention to the upgrade of roads traversing residential areas, the expansion of cultural centres, the building of cemeteries, and the improvement of the urban drainage system and anti-erosion embankment along the Bui River.
At the meeting, leaders of the district Party Committee and People’s Committee, together with officials of relevant divisions, provided details about the issues of public concern as well as measures for mobilising resources for urban infrastructure development.
They expressed their hope that local residents will stay united with the township’s Party Committee and administration to fully tap into potential and advantages to successfully achieve socio-economic development targets and soon meet the criteria for a ward-level administrative unit./.
