(HBO) - Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee Bui Van Khanh chaired a regular teleconference of the provincial People’s Committee on December 21.

At the conference.

According to a report at the event, the total State budget collection  reached approximately 5 trillion VND (217.3 million USD), exceeding the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.

To fulfill the budget collection target, the provincial People's Committee continued directing drastic actions in the effort.

As of November 30, over 2.3 trillion VND in public investment capital was disbursed, or 52% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister and 44% of the plan assigned by the provincial People’s Committee. Looking into difficulties in public investment disbursement, delegates attributed that to the increase in the prices of construction materials, especially fuel prices since early 2022.

They also proposed solutions to easing difficulties in public investment disbursement, collection of State revenues from land use, and site clearance for key projects to ensure their progress.

They also offered their opinions on reports submitted to the standing board of the provincial Party Committee and People’s Council, including those on 2022 State expenditure estimate for the COVID-19 fight at Hoa Binh city’s medical centre, and sci-tech and innovation development to improve education quality, human resources and other important contents.

Concluding the event, Khanh highlighted tasks for the near future, with focus on State budget collection and public investment disbursement.

About public investment disbursement, he stressed that as there are only 10 days left in 2022, departments and authorities of districts and city must meet the highest target of public investment disbursement.

Regarding capital allocated for disbursement in January 2023, districts and city must adopt key measures to fulfill the assigned task.

The official asked departments and agencies to offer a warm Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday for policy beneficiaries and poor households, ensuring the supply of goods for Tet and social safety and order in the locality./.
