(HBO) – Dinh Thi Thuy, deputy head of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilisation, on December 21 led a delegation to visit the Go Mu, Dong Gianh, and Khoan Du parishes in Luong Son and Lac Thuy districts, offering Christmas greetings to the Catholic communities.

The delegation and officials of Lac Thuy district visit and present gifts to Khoan Du Parish villagers.

The Go Mu and Dong Gianh parishes of the Hanoi Diocese group more than 1,000 and 2,000 parishioners, respectively. The over-3,000-member Khoan Du Parish belongs to the Phat Diem Diocese in the northern province of Ninh Binh. Over the years, with the attention of the Party and State and efforts of the parishioners, the material and spiritual life of Catholics in the area has been stabilised.

At these parishes, the working delegation wished dignitaries, priests, and Catholic followers a joyful, happy, and peaceful Christmas.

The authorities hoped that in the coming time, the councils of the parishes will continue to encourage their parishioners to follow the Party’s guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and to join socio-economic development activities, particularly those serving new-style rural building and environmental protection./.
